Vietnam, continued, Pt 3

And, to further bolster my claims that Dan Rather is horribly misguided and totally out of step with the US viewing public, we get this today from CNN.com, “Has the debate over the Vietnam-era military records of Bush and Kerry changed the way you will vote?”
The results so far? Two hundred thirty five thousand say no, twenty eight thousand say yes. That’s a hefty 89% that say the Vietnam issue has no effect on their political decision. In other words, it’s a non-issue compared to all the other issues. To boot, this is CNN, which is heavily pro-Kerry in viewership.
Take the hint, Dan. Give it a rest.

That one’s fun too. A lot of people are sick and tired of Rather’s biased and strange interpretations of news. I’m just joining the crowd. It’s time for Dan to go.

Better yet, stop watching television for news altogether!

Actually I don’t watch tv “for” news. I’ll watch it eating dinner just for background noise. But we only watch ABC news when and if we do that. From now on I’m getting all my news from Drudge
