Bush Diplomacy

“A Foreign Office spokesman said Colonel Gadaffi had made good his promise of December last year to scrap his WMD, adding that the US had now agreed to lift its remaining sanctions against the Tripoli regime.”

“Hundreds of Syrian soldiers stationed in the hills near Lebanon’s capital began dismantling their bases Tuesday in an effort to appease a U.N. Security Council demand that all 20,000 Syrian troops leave the country. “

Iran’s getting heat for their nuclear weapons program. North Korea is getting heat from China for the same reason. Libya has dismantled their WMD program and have rejoined the civilized world. Syria is showing signs of withdrawing from Lebanon to appease the UN Security Council.

Things are getting done. The most important thing, IMO, is we are realizing who our true friends are and even more importantly, who our true threats are.
