Kerry and the Spy

Kerry’s Fund-Raisers Met With South Korean Spy

WASHINGTON - A South Korean who met with Sen. John Kerry’s fund-raisers to discuss creating a political group for Korean-Americans was an intelligence agent for his country, raising concerns among some U.S. officials that either he or his government might have tried to influence this fall’s election…..

This doesn’t look good. He apparently donated to the Kerry campaign, and Kerry has supposedly returned the contribution after the fact. We’ll never know, since the spy’s name is being protected. But, it raises questions that shouldn’t have to be asked. How influential was this guy before he left? Was he truly trying to affect our elections to get someone who would reverse the proper military decision to redistribute troops? Why wasn’t this guy screened by the Kerry campaign before being allowed access?

That’s most likely the result of sloppiness on the Kerry campaign part than a willingness to work with questionable people. But, sloppiness will cause as much problems as intent, just ask Clinton.

Mixing this almost non-existant headline with the even more non-existant headline of Kerry owning stock in Total Fina Elf and you see why I am so discontent and distrustful of the media. Whether it be intent or sloppiness, they are causing problems.
