Shut up and Sing, part infinity

“There were supposed to be thousands of people here tonight. I’m not sure why that didn’t happen, obviously the people putting on this thing were just not very good at it,” an embarrassed Cher explained to the crowd.
“Alright, but you guys are here, that’s right. When I was coming down the steps I though ‘Oh s**t, well I’ll just go out there and give it my best.’”
The MIAMI HERALD had reported thousands were expected to rally at the discotheque.
Now this:
“You know, there’s only like, you know, maybe 38 of us here and maybe we can just like tap a keg and put on some disco, and totally party,” O’Donnell deadpanned.
All this following Bruce Springsteen’s debacle delving into attack politics.
When are these divas ( Bruce included ), going to learn that people want to hear them do what they do best, not preach as any idiot off the street can? Every time they do something like this, they relegate themselves to the status of mortals. I don’t want my stars to be mortal. If I did perceive them as such, I certainly woulnd’t pay $100 to see them in concert. Which do you stars want?
