Oil for Food Scandal Expands to Canada

I have never felt the Oil for Food Scandal could reach the magnitude it did without the tacit approval of a LOT of very powerful people. I expect a LOT of big names to be outed before this is over. Possibly the first big name to get caught up in this will be Paul Martin, Prime Minister of Canada:
The Belmont Club, along with Roger Simons, does an excellent job explaining how Canada’s political powers that be are embroiled in the Oil For Food scandal. It’s a must read. Canada’s position has been to send tax money to help with the reconstruction of Iraq, but has constantly refused to send troops to stabilize Iraq. On the face, this policy has always confused me as it makes no real sense to keep building infrastructure if you’re not going to prevent it from being destroyed as fast as you build it.
But, if you look at it from the revelations of the Belmont Club and Roger Simons, it makes perfect sense from an individual profit perspective. Spend someone else’s money so that you can make more money.
There were Canadians questioning the Canadian government’s lack of concern for stability in Iraq, but they were pretty much ignored.
Now you all know why. I’m not sure if the Belmont Club is overstating Martin’s connection to the Oil for Food Scandal. But, in order to be sure, the government needs to launch a full-blown investigation into his actions and finances. In the US, we call that the impeachment process. It’s pretty good at weeding out the truth. And if the Belmont Club is even half-right, Martin needs to spend some time in prison.
About 100 years should do it. How many Americans ( including Canadians ) have died in Iraq that some military protection would have prevented?
Heads up to ledgerpl for the excellent leads.

It’s revelations like this that make it even more important for Bolton to be confirmed.
The more I look at the screwed up situations in this world, the more I come back to the culprits at the UN who voted against the US in the Iraq invasion.
I bet they know the same things the Liberals in this country know. Bolton will bully these hypocrites on the floor of the UN in not so diplomatic terms.
Wonder how they are going to deal with Syria and Iran if/when Bolton is confirmed and openly asks the motives behind the votes.
This is going to be a wonderful summer in NY.
