Fading support for Terrorism

Well, today I’ve got another one that seems to be on the media ignore block so far:
This is a very interesting read. Please read it. This ain’t your typical propaganda, it’s the Pew Research Center.
The one thing that I found very interesting is this:

And, this:

Now, here’s my conundrum: If support for suicide bombings has dropped in most parts of the Muslim world, how does that make the world a more dangerous place? People have been shouting that for three years now. This mantra of the pacifists was coined during the 2004 Presidential Election"
Now, Iran and North Korea are different issues. For starters, they were both very dangerous a long time ago. Kerry just didn’t know that. The issue I think is causing the world the most problems right now is extremist Islamic fundamentalists. Here’s how some Muslim countries view them:

In all aspects, in the countries surveyed, for the most part, support for extremism seems to be fading.
That folks, means the world is becoming a safer place. When these extremists do not have the support of their society, they don’t have a place to hide. They can not recruit suicide bombers and manufacture their bombs in obscurity. In my opinion, the bombs these terrorists set off in places like London and New York are doing more to undermine the goals of the suicide bombers than anything the US or British governments could ever do themselves.

No sooner than I posted this Fox ran a ticker on it:

As best I can tell, they’re the only ones running a blurb at all. CNN and CBSNews still think the Plame affair is much more important than world terrorism.
