Baghdad Jane

A while back, I did what I felt was a satirical take on Hanoi Jane’s revelation that, MAYBE, she had acted inappropriately during the Vietnam War. She was selling a book and sort of apologized for some of her behaviors. And, she talked about sex a lot. War and sex sells, right? In her case it didn’t.
At about the same time, I was commenting on her political activism via 527’s. That series of posts wasn’t satirical. I was lamenting how certain segments within the Democrat Party were pushing it so far left that most of the Democrats couldn’t support it.
Well, guess what. Jane Fonda’s at it again:
"I can’t go into any detail except to say that it’s going to be pretty exciting," she said.
I don’t think this is going to sell more books. And, I really don’t think she’s going to have the impact she did in 1972. And, according to what she’s written already, she came out a long, long, long time ago. And apparently no one cared.
