John Grisham

"In these very, very rare circumstances, this tragic time, we hope the gift will get some attention and inspire other people to contribute money and help our fellow Mississippians on the Gulf Coast," said Grisham, who maintains a home in Oxford, Miss.
He then adds this:
"When you make charitable contributions, you realize you can’t save the world, so you find a small area you can go into and hopefully do some good and do it with your own money and your own sweat and you see the results," he said Friday. "You can’t spread yourself too thin."
Celine Dion and Kanye West need to take notes from John Grisham. I’ll sum it up for them if it’s not obvious:
-
Help those in need all you can.
-
Leave the politics and social commentary out of it until AFTER those people in need have been helped.
-
Once things have calmed down, spew your rhetoric.
Is that clear enough?
( Those two are just examples, there have been plenty more that have violated the good samaritan rules of conduct. I’m really not wanting a list of those people. )

Don’t forget Lance Armstrong kicking in 500k to help cancer patients get to their treatments. There are some class acts out there.
