Kanye West Booed

From Gateway Pundit:

Since the comments, Kanye has received criticism and was reportedly booed for the duration of a live-via-satellite performance during a Boston football game, though he’s received support from other areas and artists such as Jay-Z.

And as they note, and I have observed, this has gone with little attention and an invite to tonight’s Shelter From The Storm: A Concert For The Gulf Coast.

And, as Gateway also notes, one man heckled Dick Cheney and it made ALL the news.

This to me is a statement about the odd disparity the US culture has that allows entertainers to be politicians and we give them free reign to do whatever they want, but at the same time give politicians no respect at all.  I think entertainers that want to be politicians should be given the same respect that one man gave Dick Cheney.  Word for word.
