Patrice Cuddy, Novice

I think this one is fun. But then again, I get too many "fun" things to do here. It’s hard to keep up with all the fun and have a somewhat normal life as well. This is the "fun" for today:
OK, the implication given here is that Ms. Cuddy is "becoming part of the group that doesn’t agree with this war". That’s what major media presents, this is what the blogosphere presents:
Her own description in the local Democrat group: "Life long Labor Democrat, arms-control, peace, environmental activist since the mid 1970s - Currently working with 501C3s and the Kansas City Greens who were brought together against the War on Iraq." There’s a lot of stuff there where Ms. Cuddy touts her "life long" protests.
This is what she thinks of Fahrenheit 9/11: "Moore’s footage showing the stealing of the presidency in 2000!!! Makes your blood boil again, especially when the Black Representatives lined up to tell their story about Katharine Harris’s sloppy work!!!!!" ( Apparently she’s protesting the 2000 Election? )
She’s a Green Democrat. They protest everything. She’s all over the internet protesting the war. She’s a member of ANSWER and America Coming Together, they protest everything. She even seems to be a member of ELF, they kill people for trees. Hell, she’s even blogging her protests over everything.
I’m still waiting for Washington Post’s definition of "novice".
Once again, the media presents something as fact, the blogosphere presents tons of facts that totally undermine major media. The New York Times is in dire financial straits, is laying off people claiming it won’t affect the accuracy of their information. They’re blaming it on everything but the obvious. It’s not that people don’t want to read paper when they sit on the toilet. It’s because people don’t feel compelled to read the paper when they sit on the toilet. They know they’re not missing anything.
Dan Rather’s crying again.

Point taken. However, if I correct the typo, it’ll make your point seem strange. So, I’ll just leave it as is and make a mental note to get it right from now on.
