John Kerry’s done for

Posted by Moonage on 13 Oct 2005 | Tagged as: 2008 Presidential Race

John Kerry’s pretty much committed to running for President in 2008.  He may as well give up now.  Here’s why:

Sen. Edward Kennedy said Wednesday he would back fellow Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008 even if Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton also pursues a White House bid.

"If he runs, I would support him," Kennedy told The Associated Press in an interview at his Boston office.

As I’ve noted in the past, The Shrum Curse has plagued every candidate affected by Shrum since 1972.  Mainly in that they have lost.  The only consistent connection to the Shrum Curse, and indeed the primary reason the Shrum Curse even exists, is Ted Kennedy.

Hillary’s in, Kerry’s toast.
