The Plame Blame Game

I did a very long post on the Plame Blame Game. Typepad zapped it into the digital netherlands. Basic gist:
- There is documentation that Joe Wilson has lied.
- There is documentation Valeria Plame lied.
- They both have accused Bush and Cheney of lying.
- Plame was clandestine, not covert. In other words, her identity was irrelevent, her mission top secret. We still don’t know what her mission was.
- She reportedly sent memos to her boss to get her husband the trip to Niger.
- Her boss debunked her husband’s facts in his mission to Niger.
- Novack reportedly did not name names.
- Judith Miller never wrote an article on Valerie Plame.
- Judith Miller goes to jail for not telling the sources of a story she never wrote.
- Novack, who actually publicly outed a non-covert CIA agent, never goes to jail.
- Judith Miller gets out on September 29th agreeing to name names for the article she never wrote.
- Libby is indicted exactly one month later for obstructing justice in the investigation of the crime that Novack apparently didn’t commit by publicly outing a CIA operative.
In the original post I had tons of documentation supporting each step and misstep. If pressed, I’ll go back and get them again. A lot of it involves Senator Kit Bond. Google him with the word Plame and you’ll find a lot of the stuff I did.
Bottom line, this is surreal.
