The Left has no issue other than abortion. The problem they have is that if Roe v. Wade is overturned, the legislative forces in all States must then make new Law that is the will of the people of those individual States. States Rights is diametrically opposed to the Left agenda and they will stop at nothing to prevent it.

Overturning Roe will not be the end of the world for the ACLU or Planned Parenthood, meerely an inconvenience as they will then have to argue their case before all 50 legislatures instead of 1 Federal Court. There are no States that will abolish abortion. There are many States however that will make Laws that make sense to their citizens, namely requiring parental notification AND consent prior to performing this procedure on MINOR CHILDREN. Married women will be required to advise their husbands prior to having an abortion and several procedures like partial birth abortion will be banned in many States.

Minor children are most likely victims of a crime, primarily statutory rape and spouses that want to keep this dirty little secret from their husbands are likely to have conceived the child in an adulterous relationship. The argument of abusive husbands does not hold water. If that were the case, they should see a divorce lawyer and not Planned Parenthood. Partial birth abortion can only be described as murder. A living breathing child is in the birthing process half way thru the birth canal when they are killed. One can not describe this procedure any other way.

Having said all that, the vast majority of abortions do not fall in these catagories. Well over 90% of all abortions occur within the first tri-mester which no State will outlaw. Those are the facts about what abortion rights activists are trying to stop in Judge Alito and the balance in the Supreme Court.
