CNN’s wishful thinking?

"At 11:04:45 AM ET Monday CNN was airing Vice President Dick Cheney’s speech live from the American Enterprise Institute in Washington — when a large black ‘X’ repeatedly flashed over the vice president’s face!," Drudge explains.
CNN explains it as a "technical glitch" that apparently only occurs when Cheney breaths.

It didn’t happen that way on MSNBC. I saw/heard the full speech (I think).

From what I’ve read, I doubt people even seeing it on CNN would have noticed. I haven’t seen the video. I just think Drudge’s response is a riot.

My general response/reaction to Drudge is to ignore it anyway. Drudge makes a “living” out of “scooping” stories, is often wrong, and hardly ever retracts. And we all know that even in the real world, accusations appear on the front page, and retractions get buried somewhere else.

The problem I have is that I consider Drudge as reliable for information as CNN. Watching CNN and Drudge go at it is about like watching the Texans and Saints battle it out to see who is not the worst. I don’t think CNN did that intentionally. But, I don’t buy that it was a repeated technical glitch that only affected one speaker. I also don’t think there’s a massive left wing conspiracy with the “No Spine Zone”, but I don’t think it was a technical glitch either. Anytime you’ve got people in charge of things, you really have no clue what they might be thinking.

SSDD The Communist News Network has some rather clever people working there that are , well, for lack of a better word, michevious.
These little sophomoric pranks are funny though. We on the right appear to have a little thicker skin than those on the left and could care less most of the time, especially silly little pranks like this that are quite harmless.
I suspect the real reason no one on the right of any significance is getting upset is because no of them actually watch CNN. What is their dwindling market share these days anyway?
P.S. - Love my little stock picks as of late? Look how well the LA Times is doing. Had to let go of 85 people in the NEWSROOM to get their finances in order because of the bitching from the stockholders. I love Capitolism and can see why the Socialists hate it so, especially when they have to live within it’s free market constraints. Keep shorting guys!
