MIAMI - A passenger who claimed to have a bomb in a carry-on bag was shot by a federal air marshal Wednesday on a jetway connected to an American Airlines plane that had just arrived from Colombia, officials said.

Shoot and ask questions later.

More like shoot. Why bother asking questions? If some nut decides to run thru a plane announcing he has a bomb, ignores orders to lay down with arms outstreched and then goes for his bag, pop a cap in his ass and go on to the next. Exactly what questions need be asked?

My point as well. Shoot. If they live, ask questions later. The fed guys I’ve known know how to take someone out quickly tho. I doubt they’ll have to ask questions too often.
