Alito on XM?

I love Scrappleface. They are running this story at the moment:
After watching the early hours of the Senate Judiciary Committee€™s hearings on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Samuel Alito,
XM Satellite Radio offered
Judge Alito his own drive-time talk radio program that it plans to run against
Howard Stern€™s new Sirius Satellite Radio show.€śAlito is smart and he€™s edgy,€ť said an unnamed XM executive. €śI watched him on C-Span this morning and kept thinking, this would be so much better if I weren€™t watching it. On radio, the audience can€™t tell that you€™re not moving, or gesturing or even blinking.€ť…..
€śOn C-Span, he€™s limited to giving 8th-grade civics lessons to U.S. Senators,€ť he said. €śBut on satellite radio, he could really explore the subtleties of Constitutional law with an audience that could understand and appreciate it.€ť
Now,
Scrappleface are crafty people, yes they are. But, I’m not buying into their hidden satire. I’m betting this is a real offer by XM. It will feature prank calls to
Teddy Kennedy after he’s had a few ( think of the possibilities! ). Toss in an occasional fake-Montalban accent call to
Babs Boxer as well. This is just too good to be make-believe.
I’ll keep my subscription for BOTH XM AND C-Span for another few months in
anticipation.
