What would you think someone who made a quote like that would wind up doing for a living? If it helps you to put it in perspective, she’s referring to the Charles Manson killings. To spice it up a little, they also assisted in bombing national landmarks and advocated violent overthrow of the US government. They wanted to kill a bunch of soldiers, but they killed more of themselves instead and moved on to the aforementioned career path.
If you guessed a college professor and board member of the ACLU, you would have been dead-on perfect.
Why is that SOOOO cliche?
