Bush worst approval ratings ever?

We hear it daily.  Non-stop.  Bush is setting all-time record lows.  He is the most unpopular President ever.  Etc.. etc.. etc..  Gallup, the source of most of those polls, has a slightly different take on it:

So while Bush’s current ratings are not good by any means, and certainly mark the low point of his administration so far, they are not unprecedented. In fact, only two presidents since World War II have not had job approval ratings in the 30% range — Dwight Eisenhower and John F Kennedy — and Truman, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush all had ratings lower than Bush’s low point so far, and Clinton and Ford just missed by a few points.

Who was probably the most unpopular president ever?  According to that article, by Gallup, it was Harry Truman.

Be careful when you read those headlines.
