Over the last few days, Patrick Kennedy has done what most Kennedys do best, gotten drunk, crashed his car, and lied repeatedly to the public over the events leading up to said crash. Now, Patrick’s handled it a little differently than his dad did. He confessed he has a problem with painkillers. He just flat came out and told the good people he represents he’s a junkie. Only problem is, he blames the odd events of last week on drugs that are not painkillers. Now, rumor has it he was out partying at the Hawk and Dove. To squelch that rumor, he says he was with some babe till the wee hours of the evening. Now, that wouldn’t so bad, but he can’t remember driving all over downtown DC, but he can remember who he was with until that point? Just what was he doing with that woman that caused him to drive around stoned stupid at nearly 3am? He’s got a lot to answer to his peeps. In true Kennedy fashion, I’m sure he won’t answer their questions. People just vote for Kennedys blindly and he knows that. I’m sure his dad’s already told him to play the medical sympathy card and SHUT UP. He’s probably right too. Patrick’s not coming accross as the brightest candle.
Meanwhile, I heard tell that Nancy Pelosi planned on having a news conference sometime this week condemning Patrick’s behavior as yet another example the Democrat culture of corruption.
Yes, I really will be waiting…….

Can the FBI search a congressional office?
Willaim Jefferson is just tickled pink that some lawmakers are distracting his actions by crying foul over the FBI searching Jefferson’s office. I’m no lawyer, I don’t even play one on tv, so I read a lawyer’s take on it.
