Let the State of Virginia take care of his death sentence and after he his is dead, the State of Maryland is welcome to take his dead body and throw it in prision for 300 years. And in regards to the other John, hopefully, someone in prision will kill him after doing some severe damage to his behind.

I just think the punishment should fit the crime. If you kill someone intentionally, you meet the same fate. I don't consider it a matter of quality of life for the prisoner issue. If they rob a bank and no one gets hurt, then we discuss their living conditions for 20 years.

I don't agree with the death penalty but I kind of see where you are coming from on this one. Mabe they should put him in one of those cryogenic (?) places and revive him every so often and make him suffer prison all over again. Now that would be better imo. I honestly think its better that killers are made to live out the rest of their lives in prison. Despite, what the media portrays, prison life is pretty dire, especially in America and admittedly depending upon the State. A majority of lifers without parole will try to kill themselves at some stage. I think they should be denied that 'luxury'.

I don't know how that works. I was making these comments based on the merits of the Maryland verdict itself. I just get really tired of these decisions that don't meet the severity of the crime committed. Not even close. He may or may not die in Virginia, that remains to be seen. Because of this penalty, that's an option his lawyers will fight over as long as they can. THEN, they'll appeal the death penalty ad nauseum. No one will ever debate whether or not he was guilty.

HOWEVER, so long as his death sentence in Virginia isn't overturned or reversed for some reason, he will die in Virginia before he ever has a chance to watch movies in Maryland. I suppose that now, its all up to which state considers Muhammed their prisoner.

John Allen Muhammed has already been sentenced to death in Virginia. The Maryland trial was only a backup. Nevertheless, I agree with you.
