Tom Delay, paybacks are a beoch

A while back, I did a thingy on why Tom Delay was having so many problems. The root of the post was because he had screwed so many of his own party that no one was willing to come to his rescue when his aggressive and arrogant tactics bit him back. The charges came, and, although not convicted ( and probably never will be ), the Republicans quietly stepped to side and watched his boat sink.

Not being the kind of guy to do ANYTHING quietly or tactfully, paid them back in the form of winning his primary and THEN retiring. That pretty much assures the Republicans of losing his district come November.

I’d love nothing more to see is the people of to go ahead and re-elect the thereby assuring a fair election the next round.

Bottom line, losing that district for two years is well worth getting Delay out of the mainstream Republican Party permanently.
