Gaggle nails it:
Everyone knew about that top-secret program. It was so well known that NYT felt compelled to relegate it to front page headline news.
Y’know, at first I assumed the NYT assumed we are all incredibly stupid. Now, after watching them make the rounds explaining to us that their top-secret revealed to them by sources who remained anonymous to protect their own asses was so well known by terrorists who read the New York Times for their tips that they had to print it in huge letters on the front page for them, honestly leads me to believe that the editors and management staff at NYT ARE that stupid. I mean, how many blocks from the WTC is the NYT? Of course, I guess at this time they feel a little safer than the average American.

Well, as far as I can remember, the NY Times building is at 229 West 43rd Street, New York, NY 10036
Looks to be about 5 miles from the WTC site. Although the new Times building, supposed to poen sometime this year, will be a few blocks closer.

You’d think they’d be a little more nervous about terrorism. However, as the editor noted over the weekend, they’re against this war and don’t mind saying so.
