Debunking 9/11 Myths

Posted by Moonage on 17 Sep 2006 | Tagged as: Conspiracy Theories

Given all the free marketing people promoting the 9/11 conspiracy theories
get via conspiracy theory supporters, I feel it’s just as right to promote my
beliefs about 9/11 here.  Namely, it was purely and act of terrorism and
the US government was the intended victim moreso than the people who died.
I resent the conspiracy theorists for that reason, they’re promoting the intent
of the terrorist act itself and too stupid to recognize that fact.  A
fellow was promoting his book on O’Reilly, you can watch the interview

here

Popular Mechanics
also elaborates on this book with a lengthy article that
tackles the myths from a mechanical perspective.  "The Fellow" promoting
this book is doing so on behalf of the editors of Popular Mechanics.  You
can get it here if you have any reservations about 9/11 at all:

In this debate, it amazes me how often it rears its ugly head by authors and
people promoting movies, and some pretty much whacked out people.  I just
keep responding to it with people like mechanics, technicians, and scientists.
But, it just never seems to go away.  Hopefully this book will help.
This conspiracy theory truly is just garbage that does more harm than good and
needs to die a very quick death.

Good idea. I am going to do the same thing on my blog (next week - too busy watching the Chicago Bears continue to dominate the NFL today). I get irritated everytime I see one of the ads for the conspiracy sites pop up on google ads.

That’s a big part of the reason I don’t use Google any more. Never hardly make anything from it, and there’s absolutely no telling what they’ll put on your site regardless of what position you’ve taken. I’m using Typepad’s preferred advertising method over there. I’m about to ditch it as well. Just gonna go with paid advertising from now on :)

Now that I’ve thought about it, all ads are toast. Just gonna plug what I wanna plug and that’s it.

Be sure to check out the book  Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory due out in March by Dr. David Ray Griffin.

Honestly, a lot of pros have taken their best shot. So far none of them have held water more than the time it takes them to blurt it out. I’ll let you, or anyone, read the book and tell me what Griffin knows that nobody else ever did and why.
