This just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me in a lot of ways.  The headline:

Editorial: Homeland security takes common sense approach

The Department of Homeland Security is adopting a more holistic approach to the way it determines risk and doles out federal money.

Rather than spread the money evenly across the country or give grants only to a few high-risk cities, the agency is adopting a mix of the two.

It’s common sense, and it’s unfortunate it took this long to invoke it at the agency.

Sounds good enough so far?  Sounds very promising.  However, it wraps up by saying:

The new list is rightly confidential, but hopefully its contents are better thought out this time around.

If they have no clue what’s on the list, how do they know it’s any better than what was there before?  The only thing they know for sure is Democrats now oversee Homeland Security.  That’s it.

It’s amazing how biased media can be.  It’s also amazing to me how few people care.
