We have much better things to spend enforcement, judicial, and penal dollars on than making criminals out of consenting adults participating in a mutually agreed transaction. Instead of siphoning resources from real criminal enforcement, legalize it, regulate it, tax it, make it a revenue generator for government to pay for health consequences, and dry up one black market revuenue generator for organized crime and gangs.
