Nancy Pelosi and the Black Caucus

Here’s the scuttle making the rounds right now:
Michelle then ties in the recent polls that show the Democrats losing huge amounts of popularity. As if they’re connected issues.
In my opinion, they are, but not for the same reason Michelle leads one to believe. Although Nancy Pelosi did oust Jefferson from the Ways and Means Committee, much to the chagrin of the Black Caucus. She did so due to the very obvious legal conflict an investigation into a Congressman presiding over the Justice Department had. It was just TOO obvious. Especially more so given her harping over the culture of corruption of the Republicans. If she hadn’t removed Jefferson, the FBI would have been looking at a lot more people than Jefferson alone. That could have been very bad. However, putting Jefferson on Homeland Security looked just as bad to the common person. Why would someone caught with the hands in the till be rewarded with a powerful committee assignment? The culture of corruption is biting Nancy in the ass. As it should. However, apparently, she’s got an even bigger problem on her hands because apparently the Black Caucus doesn’t have a problem living in a culture of corruption. So, does Nancy continue to harp on Republicans and run the risk of alienating blacks, or does she drop the corruption and run the risk of looking as bad, if not worse, than Delay? This ethical conflict isn’t going away any time soon, and Nancy has pinned herself into a corner I don’t see how she can get out of. She can’t accuse a black of being corrupt, she can’t accuse a Democrat of being corrupt. And, we all know, all people of all races can be. I wouldn’t want to be Nancy right now.
Someone said “pride goeth before the fall”, but in this case, the fall is already happening.

HEAR HEAR!! It seems that our dame dem figure head speaker has painted herself into a corner. However, as it has been shown time and again, the dems have no compunction to walking all through the work they’ve done to achieve a new goal. Unfortunately, this fact will likely surprise the conservatives as it frequently does. The best thing we “paleocons” could do is to keep pointing out the simple facts.
a.) Corruption is not a partisan issue, Nancy stuck her bovine hoof in her mouth by trying to sell that lie and is reaping the benifits thereof. The “culture of corruption” is the same one on the streets of LA and every other street in the land, not just one side of the Aisle.
b.) The lines drawn by the left are not about corruption or racism, they are boldly along those aforementioned partisanism. the left would just love to see the early demise of the republican party and any other group that stands in their path to self destruction.
c.) This one may be hard to swallow by most of you out there: the left has a snake in the garden promoting a dangerous form of socialism. George Soros is part of that system. His ‘open society’ has its tendrils into every facet of american life, and indeed that of much of the world. The lefts pandering to his agenda for political favor is foolish in a juvenile way. Soros turned his back on his own people before and has stated his desire to knock America down a few rungs. If the Immigration laws ever get enforced, My thought is to send him to guantanamo bay for starters. His actions represent an insurrection, clear and simple. If France calls for his extradition I’d be happy to do the transporting myself. So how does this tidbit relate to Jefferson, you may ask. well, as it’s been mentioned before, the idea of just dumping a member in your party due to bad publicity is VERY bad for everyone. Accusations will affect the government in the same socialistic way that the dept of social service (or child service, etc) has on families who find themselves being invaded by social workers on no more than a mention of some specific problem. In this scenario, it’s unclear who is really running the show. My bet would be the likes of Soros or Putin rather than the people. Pelosi, Reid and such are in my opinion just boobs being controlled via PCism. The black caucus (which shouldn’t exist as it is) just exposes the truth of it.
