Americans prefer a felon or Harry Reid?

Trick question I know. It’s a tie.

From Rasmussen:

Surveys of 800 Likely Voters June 4-5, 2007 and June 6-7, 2007
This Week’s Favorability Ratings

  • Harry Reid – 19%
  • Scooter Libby – 19%

Actually it’s a double-trick question. Scooter Libby’s not elected.

And, I know a lot of people would suggest it’s a triple-trick question as there is no difference between the two.

I see a difference betwixt the two. Scooter fell victim to Leftinistra tomfoolery. I followed the trial of Scooter. He had a “poor” memory. The witnesses against him had a worse “poor” memory. The whole thing was a sham. He didn’t get convicting the CIA “operative”…Armitage leaked the “outing” and not Scooter. It was a BDS hunt.

Reid? He fell victim to his own stupidity. What could we expect from Yoda?

Well, I didn’t mean this as a comment on Scooter. He was railroaded and hung to dry. However, in the regards of that poll, being as he’s not running for any office, he was just the token averarage white corrupt Republican. He should have had the worst negativity rating of the group by a longshot, and he did. However, Harry Reid is an elected official, the most powerful man in the Senate, and supposedly representing the overwhelming mandate of the US people to get our troops out of Iraq. With all that playing for him, his favorability rating is exactly the same as the token white corrupt Republican.

Something’s amiss here folks. And it ain’t the poll.

IF YOU DONT KNOW BY NOW JUST ABOUT ALL POLITICIANS ARE PAINTED WITH THE SAME BRUSH . SO LIBBY AND REED HAVING THE SAME POLL NUMBERS MAKES SENSE. AT BEST THERE ONLY AS GOOD AS THERE LAST DAY AT THERE JOB LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

Yeah, but in this case, one still has a PR machine and one obviously doesn’t. I’m just trying to get the message out to Nancy and Harry that their agenda was not a mandate as they have stated and they better get back in touch with why they gained control before they implode the Democrat Party worse than it was before. I really don’t care which party is in control, I just would like to see one or both of them base it more in reality. If being in control of the US Senate and having the same respect as someone convicted of a felony and persecuted by the media doesn’t give Harry a message, we’re in for another mandate in 2008. And, with the presidential candidates running the way they are, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see one party in complete control again. Which, given the same complete disregard for the general public as we have now, would not be a good thing.
