Levin is trying to score some snarky point about Iraq by saying that the Democrats haven't done much during their tenure in office (by his estimation). So what? Congress could have quit and gone home for the last six months and that would have nothing to do with how we should evaluate the situation in Iraq. I am late on a book manuscript, does that mean, by extension, that the Iraqis shouldn't be judged harshly for their failure to govern?
