Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan prove Paris got screwed

Nicole Richie was released from jail Thursday after serving 82 minutes of a four-day sentence for driving under the influence of drugs.

Lindsay Lohan copped a plea for seven misdemeanor charges and got ten days.  She was busted stoned out of her gourd and carrying drugs while harassing another driver.  She gets ten days.

Paris Hilton got busted for wrecking a car and got forty-five days.  She only had to serve 23 of course.  However, that is more than double the time Nicole AND Lindsay have to serve COMBINED.

Where was Rocky Delgadillo this time? 

Where are all the media saying these two need to taught a lesson?

    I’ve been meaning to write about this. Haven’t had time.

    Paris didn’t get screwed. Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan and the people of California got screwed because justice was not done.

    Paris should have served her full sentence. Period. Full stop.

    Nicole Ritchie should have served far more than 82 minutes. Period. Full stop.

    Ten days? Lindsay Lohan should have served years in prison, and should have gotten the help that she needed to kick her drug addictions. Any other sentence doesn’t serve her – or the people of California – well. She was caught red-handed with cocaine. If you ask me, Lindsay Lohan’s is the saddest story of all. What happened to the cute little girl that did the remake of The Parent Trap? Lohan has an incredible talent, which is being sucked away through the straw in her nose. What a waste of a life.

    The larger question is not the judicial system, but what is it about Hollywood that contributes to talented young women so screwing up their lives? What is it about the culture of Hollywood that makes women want to kill themselves – and take others out with them?

    I totally agree with the full stop. They all should have done the time required by the laws they knew were in place. The only possible exception being Richie, only because she’s pregnant. Because of that, she should have been required to double the social work.

    The reason these girls can, and do, destroy their lives is too much money too young. They think they’re having a good time. That’s what is programmed to our youth every single day by the culture we’ve allowed to exist since the 60′s. We buy our kids music and stuff that tells them drugs are OK, if not the only way to exist. We buy them music and stuff that tells them being stupid and suicidal is cool. It’s just as much our fault as theirs. However, somehow, a lot of kids living in Hollywood seem to survive normally and thrive. I don’t think the producers and marketers particularly enjoy these starlets imploding. However, until they put the hammer down, and put it down hard and swift, they’ll continue to self-destruct and thrive in Hollywood. When Hollywood goes back to the mentality that these stars are a dime a dozen and promote the movies instead of the actors, and society starts enforcing a higher expectation from the influences we subject our kids to, we’ll just keep having to bear with the Lindsays, Nicoles, Paris’s, and Curt Kobains.
