President Obama, realizing that Janet Napolitano claiming the “system worked” by allowing a terrorist covered in explosives to detonate himself on an airplane didn’t fly too well in the polls, stated that indeed, the system might not have worked too well. Public pressure has been intense to do something. To change the system even if it costs Napolitano her job. Obama seems to think that’s rather harsh. She hasn’t done anything crazy like profess her admiration of Chairman Mao or claim Republicans are assholes. She’s just a little naive in her belief that Homeland Security allowing a terrorist on a flight fully loaded and ready to detonate is no big deal. The fact his PETN didn’t explode is proof that the system worked. Feel safe America, PETN obviously doesn’t explode too well. So, in response to the public outcry that people aren’t convinced that allowing terrorists doused in explosives to fly with their small children is OK, Obama has instituted more change you can believe in, the new anti-terrorist security measure all people will now have to take before boarding any flight:
