Forbes Takers vs Makers
Forbes Magazine just ran a rather awesome, if not damning, article. I loved it. It listed the states where there are more “takers” vs “makers”. And, it very quickly condemned those states, as well as advising anyone investing to steer clear of those states.

One of them, being my own. They chide those states for reckless spending, and give them the not so subtle description as the “death spiral states”. But, they miss the BIG picture as far as I’m concerned. Anyone can avoid investing in California. But:

On the national level, you had one candidate, the Democrat, promising to expand the “takers” substantially. You had another candidate trying to help the “makers”. 135 of the needed 270 electoral votes are controlled by “taker” states.
Think about that.
The election is half over before it even begins.
