Once again, I can agree with President Obama on something: “The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from [...]

Scott Walker was a Tea Party favorite. Scott Walker was also a Republican bucking the tidal wave that was the Obama tsunami of union backed and media endorsed candidates. Although Wisconsin had a long history of electing Republican governors, the retiring governor of eight years was a Democrat. Walker ran on Tea Party principles and [...]

Love an inopportune headline. The message is obvious. Due to the inferred agreement between the House and Senate, the debt ceiling has been raised, ending the speculation that the United States might default on its loans. This will save $250 billion over the next decade, senior administration officials told reporters. (The debt during that same period is projected to [...]

The Republicans are pushing a measure to end TARP and return unspent funds to lower, make that, not increase, the national debt. I am betting Nancy Pelosi will not allow this subversive effort to limit her ability to spend huge amounts of money to occur. Any takers?

I love Snopes.com. No telling what you’ll find there. Humor, movies, sports, paranormal, extra-terrestrial, politics, you name it, it’s there. One of today’s stories involve an opinion piece written by Charley Reese in 1985. Politicians, as I have often said, are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. [...]
