A while back I bitched and moaned about Obama‘s seeming attacks on the CIA and appointing a guy who has advocated rights moreso than security in charge. What I was getting at is it seemed he was making the huge mistake Bill Clinton made that led to 9/11. It was referred to as “the wall”. [...]

I try to come up with witty post titles to show how clever I am. However, in Eric Holder’s case this week, he’s got me. There are so many choices to pick from I get a brain freeze simply trying to pick one, or two, or three. Now, I’m not stupid, and most people [...]

It’s telling me that the policies of Jamie Gorelick and Bill Clinton/Janet Reno are back. That was my opinion January 5 of this year when Obama put Leon Panetta in charge of the Central Intelligence Agency. As of now, the Central Intelligence Agency will not be allowed to glean intelligence from war prisoners. The Federal [...]

Everyone is saying this has been a near-flawless transition: It had to come some time. Despite a nearly flawless transition period of astute, substantive and widely praised cabinet appointments, the nascent Obama administration has unintentionally provoked its first controversy. Significantly, it is in the sphere of national security. I haven’t been quite as impressed. Bill [...]

Been reading that Obama is planning on naming Leon Panetta head of the CIA. A while back I did a series of posts on basically what happened when the security of the United States was wonked to death by people more interested in internal policies than doing what was necessary to protect us. Basically, the [...]

In my opinion, 9/11 was largely the responsibility of Jamie Gorelick. Jamie Gorelick is pure evil. Period. Her name figures prominently in several domestic disasters. Sure, she didn’t break the levees in New Orleans, but it was the climate of non-communication between agencies that contributed to the problems in a substantial way. So yeah, some [...]

For those who have forgotten, following the attacks of 9/11/01, a commission was formed to investigate how it happened and what could be done to prevent another one. Jamie Gorelick, who was tantamount to the problem of obvious clues being ignored that an attack was being planned, as a member of Janet Reno’s staff, for [...]

OK, so I’m no commission, but I do have a lot of questions and I think some ideas about security before 9/11 that the other commission wimped out of dealing with. Namely, what went wrong? No, I’m not talking about United States’ citizens not having the stomach to deal with the aftermaths of the original [...]
