Democrats flee as opposed to discussing gas relief

A rather bizarre event unfolded Friday.  Basically, the Republicans tried to force a vote on drilling for more oil.  The Democrats stifled it.  Then, the Democrats decided that accomplishing nothing to help the United States deal with soaring gas prices was better than debating, or even worse yet, voting to allow more drilling.

Last year Kentucky elected a new governor to replace the one we had. The one we had had been accused of inappropriate hiring practices. That never was resolved since the person making the charges decided to drop the charges so he could run for governor, and lose.

Hillary Clinton had a fundraiser hosted by Sir Elton John.  It went well, raising a couple of million dollars.  It should have, Sir Elton has quite a bit of money and hangs around people with a lot of money as well.  Only problem is, someone had a problem with it:
