Scott Walker was a Tea Party favorite. Scott Walker was also a Republican bucking the tidal wave that was the Obama tsunami of union backed and media endorsed candidates. Although Wisconsin had a long history of electing Republican governors, the retiring governor of eight years was a Democrat. Walker ran on Tea Party principles and [...]

I had this to say a while back: Fair warning here folks, the next couple of years will suck if you’re an independent business owner That was in reference to Ted Kennedy wanting to raise the minumum wage because Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats took over Washington. He got what he wanted. Unemployment increased more [...]

Remember Al Green? Man, I sure do: Right after Barry White and George Clinton, the dude could sing. When he set the mood, the clothes fell off. Didn’t even need a whole lot of tequila. I’m sure every 40 to 50 something has a good memory or two of Al Green. So, given the chance [...]

A few days ago Obama told a crowd in Michigan that the stimulus was working. Then the jobs claims showed people weren’t being hired. Now the housing market is taking a hit: New U.S. Homes Sales Plunged to Record Low in January This is what it’s looked like since Obama took over: Jan 2009 24 [...]

I read a little article this morning by David Hunkar at Seeking Alpha. It was pretty staight to the point. It was a synopsis of Forbes’ America’s Best and Worst Banks List. The TARP comment in Hunkar’s article led me to assume that accessing TARP money meant the bank was not as good as it [...]

Obama has had a recurring theme that private sector banks are greedy. He’s held true to that philosophy the entire time he campaigned and has as President as well. Lots of other people jumped on the bandwagon: Join thousands of ordinary Americans October 25 through 27 as we protest the irresponsible behavior of America’s big [...]

For a little while now, I’ve been going after Obama and his bunch for attacking big banks when the problem is with regional banks. He’s given them TARP, gotten most of it back, called them names, and begged for their help. All the while, smaller banks have been totally ignored while the Feds have been [...]

Obama laid blame to the entire financial meltdown to the finance industry. He trashed their bonuses as an example of why people don’t like banks right now. He sang a different tune last year. He gladly accepted parts of their bonuses as the economy was melting down. Lehman Brothers $ 344,609 Bear Stearns $ 60,754 [...]

More lunacy from the top. At approximately 11:10 this morning, Obama is scheduled to meet with representatives of the financial industry. Last night he had this to say about them: “I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of fat cat bankers on Wall Street.”….. “They’re still puzzled why it is [...]

The Republicans are pushing a measure to end TARP and return unspent funds to lower, make that, not increase, the national debt. I am betting Nancy Pelosi will not allow this subversive effort to limit her ability to spend huge amounts of money to occur. Any takers?
